BROWSER ADD ON-POWERFUL TOOL TO ENHANCE THE BROWSERS

          
        Many of us don’t know how to utilize the full potential of a browser. We browse in internet for various reason ,but the chief reason is

• To Know about any topic or Info

• To download Like Picture ,Video ,Songs, or any other software.

But sometimes we don’t have time to spend too much in net. So we need to copy the content of the matter and read it later. For this I find many people do either save the entire page as web page  or select the particular area and copy into word document for future reading.

Some of them use a separate you tube down loader software to download any video or You tube videos . But these soft wares  are unnecessarily occupies the space, and in many case it comes with tracking cookies. There is no need to go for separate down loader software for videos. The browser itself can cater all those functions.

The Add On feature in browser comes to help here. Add on is nothing but a small software that attach with your browser and enhance the performance of the browser. Add on don’t work separately, but work with your browser.

I had tested many browser like Explorer, Fire Fox, Chrome, opera ,Safari, Luna ,Maxthan etc etc., I find the add on features in Fire Fox and Chrome is much better than any other browser. More conveniently  fire fox add ons is much easier to use and organize. ( Note: Opera has the advantage of direct RSS reading option, where other browser lacks this option )

In order to add these add on’s in Fire Fox browser- Go to Tools—>add On . An  add on page from fire fox will open. Now browse for All add on’s. From the list of ADD ON’s, go through the description and if you see something is much suited for your need , then feel free to push the button” Add to Fire fox”. The add on will attach with your browser. In order to take effect of the ADD ON ‘s , sometime you may have to restart the browser. That is it. 

For copying the content of matter you can select any Screen Capture add on’s. This captures the entire web page in a PNG file and stores into your computer. Later on you can read it. The Only draw back is that, you can not copy the text from the content. Because it is stored as image file.

To down load any You tube or any embedded videos , you can make use of Download Helper, or Ant video down loader or any add on that is more liked by you. Whenever there is video on site ,the add on tells you that "something is there to download, and do you want to download?" See how simple is .For clear perception, I have put some screen shot of add on that I added to my browser
