        Many of us don’t know how to utilize the full potential of a browser. We browse in internet for various reason ,but the chief reason is

• To Know about any topic or Info

• To download Like Picture ,Video ,Songs, or any other software.

But sometimes we don’t have time to spend too much in net. So we need to copy the content of the matter and read it later. For this I find many people do either save the entire page as web page  or select the particular area and copy into word document for future reading.

Some of them use a separate you tube down loader software to download any video or You tube videos . CHINESE PEN DRIVE/ FLASH DRIVE FORMATTING

CHINESE PEN DRIVE/ FLASH DRIVE

I find some of my friends bought Chinese pen drive /flash drive about 80GB/120 GB etc and could not use it. When we insert the pen drive in computer,it shows the capacity (or Memory )of the pen drive .But we could not format and  use it.Even from 'Disk management' we could not format the pen drive. Reason behind is while we are about to format through windows OS neither it shows FAT32 nor NTFS. In FAT32 file system the maximum capacity to format upto 32 GB only. However, the pen drive 40/80/120 GB cannot be partitioned in FAT32 nor it supports NTFS format. So, it will not display either FAT or NTFS file system drop down of Pen drive.

But there is solution for this...! You can format those pen drive by utilizing this software tool. You can download it from HERE.

 

Just follow the on screen menu and format the pen drive using FAT32 as quick format.

ENABLE / DISABLE USB PORT

ENABLE / DISABLE USB PORT (THROUGH REG EDIT)

These days the main form of data theft is by means of Pen drive . More than 90 % of data theft is happening with PEN drive /Flash drive. It is very essential to prevent from data theft. This can be done by Enabling and Disabling of USB port of our personal computers, so any unauthorized person can not copy away your data. By simply change the registry value in the "regediter" command we can do this. So that the data in your systems can't be copied into any other USB portable drives or pen drives. Remember even the external Back up medium like external hard disk also can not work after you modify this.

Here is the steps:

To enable the USB port

Start->Run->regedit-> ( Navigate to the following line )
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR
"Start"=dword:00000003.
 
To disable the USB port

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\USBSTOR]
"Start"=dword:00000004
that's it . Now your computer is risk free from data theft by pen drive.

IDENTIFICATION OF E- MAIL VIRUS
In your e-mail in box you can able to find out the virus e-mail by seeing their Subject matter.Most of them contain an unusual word, such as below:

• :))Hello -:))
• Hotti=)
• Hi :)
• Ello sexy !=))
• Weah ^_^ 
• Hey,sexy , it's me ^_^
• Access SEX.Mpeg
• Re:your text
• Re:Text message
• Re:Msg reply
• Re:Is that your document?
• Re:Hot Movie(MPEG)
• Re:Sexy pics
• Urgent: your prize is unclimed

If you receive emails with the subject as mentioned above,don't open it and you should delete it immediately.

IDENTIFICATION OF ATTACHMENT VIRUS
Usually the attachment has a small size less than ( 100-150 kb ).The names of these attachments are very tempting to open it immediately. It usually have the file extension name as
.scr .clp
.pif .bat
.exe .com
.lhz .rhz
and some time it's compressed by .zip/.rar file.

Tempting names like :

 HotSexMovie.MPEG.bat
collegescandle.Avi.exe
Sexy_pics_of_Caterina.zip
Indeed these files are virus file. The last 3 characters after the final dot (.) is the correct extension.For Example:  "HotSexMovie.MPEG.bat." It is not a movie file. But it is a batch file consists of virus coding.

• The computer runs slower than usual.
• The computer stops responding, or it locks up frequently.
• Very often Hang up or restart automatically.
• The computer restarts on its own.
• Applications on the computer do not work correctly.
• Disks or disk drives are inaccessible.
• You cannot print items correctly.
• You see unusual error messages.
• Your folders become non-smooth.
• You see distorted menus and dialog boxes.
• Many of your folders or files are renamed or folders /files created without any name.
• There is a double extension on an attachment that you recently opened. For Example: Sexymovie.mpeg.vbs , coolpic.gif.exe
• Ctrl + alt+ Delete key combination is disabled. Or you get an error message as "Access denied. You need to have an administrator control"although you are in administrator privilege.
